This print was inspired by our creative hands and a half remembered playground saying.  A ‘bunch of fives’ is a fist. I changed this slightly passive-aggressive message into something more positive by making a bunch of flowers to celebrate these bunches of hands. I used some tiny fleurons, otherwise known as 'Printers Flowers' to create the stems and ‘Printers Fists' for the flowers themselves. I hope it reads as a bunch of life’s possibilities, or helping hands pointing to all the multitude of beautiful directions that engaging with with our own hands or accepting the assistance of others can take us.
